RACE & CULTURAL IDENTITY
iMINDS was founded by a Black woman and has a team of professionals of color to help you process and explore topics of racial, cultural, and ethnic background as it relates to your family history, origins, and your own personal identity. We get how sometimes things or someones in our current society affect you, culturally define who you are, determine when you can be your authentic self, and when you have to navigate spaces that aren't safe.
TRAUMA
Sometimes life happens to us and its hard to deal. Sleepless nights, flashbacks, and reliving and replaying the life-altering events in your mind can be overwhelming. iMINDS has staff that is CPT certified and trained to treat symptoms of PTSD and trauma. Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse can be challenging, but it doesn't have to hold you hostage.
ANXIETY
Racing thoughts or constantly feeling on edge? A lot of us deal with this on a daily basis and aren't even able to recognize how anxiety cripples us.
Let iMINDS teach you how to quiet your mind to reduce excessive worry, nervousness, stress, feelings of intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety), and/or sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder).
